Juyeon Lee

21-year-old Korean violinist Juyeon Lee is an award-winning violinist who has received prizes in numerous competitions, such as Yokohama International Violin Competition, Ewa & Kyunghyang Competition, Chunchu Concompetiton, Korea Herald Competition, and Segye Times Competition. She has also performed in The Seoul Yego Young Artist Concert and The Young Musician Festival. Juyeon has been privileged to participate in masterclasses led by distinguished artists such as Peter Schuhmayer, Pavel Vernikov, Namyoon Kim, Chiyoko Noguchi, Kazuki Sawa, Min Kim, and Sungsik Yang. Juyeon’s dedication to excellence extends beyond her musical pursuits, as she has been acknowledged as an outstanding student in both musical and academic studies in her school. Juyeon has received various scholarships including the Frances I. Cheyne Scholarship and The Juilliard Scholarship. She is currently in her first year of undergraduate studies at the Juilliard School in New York, where she is under the tutelage of Laurie Smukler.
