Lucia Nowik

Lucia Nowick, is originally from North Plainfield, NJ. She began studying the violin at the age of four just so she could imitate her older sisters, who also played. Now, 16 years later, she has learned to love the instrument and is in her third year of undergraduate study at The Juilliard School.  Lucia’s past teachers have been Victoria Peterson, You Sun Kim, Stephen Clapp, and presently Masao Kawasaki. Throughout middle school and high school, Lucia was a member of the New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS) family of orchestras, and for two years was the concertmaster of the top orchestra, Youth Symphony.
