Sarah Bobrow

 

Bassoonist Sarah Bobrow is an active orchestral and chamber musician based in New York City. In the past year, she has performed with The New York Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, and National Repertory Orchestra. She has also been heard in a number of festivals, most recently including the National Repertory Orchestra, Sarasota Music Festival, and Chautauqua Music School Festival Orchestra. A passionate educator, Sarah maintains a private bassoon studio and was a Music Advancement Program fellow at The Juilliard School where she mentored, taught lessons, and led studio classes for young students. Sarah is currently earning her master’s degree from The Juilliard School where she studies with Kim Laskowski. Previously, Sarah earned a BM from The Eastman School of Music under the tutelage of George Sakakeeny. She simultaneously earned a BA in Public Health from The University of Rochester.
