Seonwoo Lee

Soprano Seonwoo Lee, born and raised in Seoul, is a first-year master’s student in vocal arts at the Juilliard School, where she studies with Edith Wiens. A recipient of multiple honors and scholarships, Lee has numerous successes in vocal competitions in Korea, including top prizes in Dong-A music competition and The Korean voice competition. Her appearances include Palm Beach Opera, Spoleto Festival USA and Hong Kong Opera’s NYIOP Korea audition. Lee has also participated in masterclasses with Helmut Deutsch and Anna Bonitatibus. As an active performer, she has made appearances in solo recitals, duo concert, and concert series at many concert venues in South Korea.
