Changing World
Changing World
As a fist stretches and shuts,
As moisture rises up and rains back down,
A wave charges,
As it breaks on shore’s ruts.
As things morph between their kinds,
As erosion sweeps dust beneath your feet,
A shifting bone,
As new winds change your mind.
As molten sand becomes glass,
As cedars drop their feathers to the earth,
Change is fated,
As Time begs for new mass.
As stars fade in their black sea,
As love assumes inevitable loss,
Rain must tumble,
As tension must release.
As nebulae birth new suns,
As hearts descend slowly into stillness,
In awe we gaze,
And with moonrise begun,
We accept another transformation.
Transcend limits, Staying in the Game: As the sun sets, I view it as how the fire within me still rages despite all odds that may or had come to my path. A reminder to us that even though such haze may come to our lives, there's always a solution to overcome as long as we believe in the process to our goals and life ahead. Stay Strong, Stay Bright
Under the way: The transition of life and light!
Autumn in Tianjin: I took this photo close to the school on November 9th as I was captivated by the change of season visible in the leaves. This time of year is always my favorite, and the change of leaves got me thinking about my own life changes. To me, these changing leaves reflect my own changes in moving to the other side of the world to start a new journey. The title is a play on the famous jazz standard "Autumn in New York", which I felt would be a cute connection between our two campuses.
