Lee Cyphers

 

Hailing from the city of Plattsburgh in upstate New York, Lee Cyphers is in the class of 2020 at The Juilliard School. He began playing the French horn in his public school band and has loved it ever since. A dedicated chamber musician, Lee has attended the Maine Chamber Music Seminar at Snow Pond, and Valdres Sommersymfoni in Norway, and performed in Juilliard’s Chamberfest 2018. He also played on former teacher Ann Ellsworth’s 2017 CD, Rain Coming. During the 2017-18 school year, he was a Gluck Community Service Fellow, giving interactive performances of solo and chamber music at various health care facilities and shelters around New York City.
